How do I return an item?

i. All new products sold by Guardian Industrial Supply, LLC. are subject to the terms of any and all original manufacturer’s policies that may apply. The ability to return Factory New items will vary depending on the manufacturer. Some manufacturers consider items to be Non-cancelable/non-returnable after the purchase order is placed, yet others may allow returns with an applicable restock charge. Please ask your sales rep at the time of the order if you are concerned about the returnability of the item. We will work on your behalf and make every effort to try to accommodate any cancellations or returns but any charges will be incurred by the customer.

All sales and services are presumed to have taken place in Texas and those above-described warranties provided by Guardian Industrial Supply, LLC. shall be construed under Texas law, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Venue for any dispute arising hereunder shall be in that State or Federal Court nearest to the main office of Guardian Industrial Supply, LLC. The parties hereby agree to personal jurisdiction over them in such Courts. Guardian Industrial Supply, LLC. shall be entitled to attorneys' fees and costs including pre and post judgment should it have to enforce its right under this transaction.
Customer warrants that it is and shall remain in full compliance with any applicable United States, State and/or local regulations controlling the sale and delivery of goods for export and is and shall remain solely responsible therefore. The terms set forth herein constitute the entire agreement regarding this transaction, except for product and/or service description and pricing, and subject only to our credit agreement (if any) with you, our invoice and our separate order confirmation.
In the event any part of these terms is deemed unenforceable by a court having jurisdiction thereover, such unenforceable term(s) shall be modified to make them as enforceable as possible, and the rest of these terms shall not be affected. Any contrary terms offered by the Customer are not a part of this transaction. Customer shall defend, indemnify and hold Guardian Industrial Supply, LLC. and its agents harmless from any breach by it of these terms or any misuse or abuse by it of any item sold and/or serviced hereby.
The goods sold hereunder shall be at the risk of the Customer upon delivery by Guardian Industrial Supply, LLC to the carrier F.O.B. shipping point. Title to the goods sold hereunder shall remain in Seller until payment in full by Buyer.

Guardian Industrial Supply, LLC shall not be responsible for delays caused by manufacturing plants, transportation, strikes, fires, floods, storms, war, insurrections, riot, any governmental regulation, order, act or instruction, or any other circumstances beyond its control, and Customer hereby waivers any claims relating to same.

Return Policy and Procedures

Returns must have RMA label(s) attached: Product returned to Guardian Industrial Supply, LLC for any reason must be accompanied by a "Return Merchandise Authorization" (RMA). Please email returns@guardian-industrial.com or fill out our online form for a Return Authorization number. To speed the process, please have the
  • Invoice/Order Number
  • Product Number
  • Description of Problem
When RMA numbers are issued, RMA labels are faxed or e-mailed to you with instructions and a list of items authorized for return. RMA's are only valid for ten (10) days from date of issue. Products received without an RMA label or with an expired RMA label will be returned unopened.
Policies:
  • Any returns other than defective must be requested within thirty (30) days from the invoice date and must be unopened, with no labels or writing on products or boxes.
  • If you receive product that is defective upon receipt or DOA, contact Guardian Industrial Supply immediately (No later than 10 days from the invoice date to comply with most manufacturer's DOA exchange policy). Defective product is replaced or repaired as per the DOA and warranty policy of the individual product manufacturer. Guardian Industrial Supply will assist you in resolving the problem however we provide no warranty other than the warranty offered by the manufacturer of the product.
  • Any product damaged by the freight carrier cannot be returned for credit. If product was damaged in transit, you must file a claim with the carrier. All damaged containers and merchandise must be kept for inspection. Truck Shipment: Check your order immediately upon arrival. All damages must be noted on delivery receipt. All damages and shortages must be called in to the trucker within 7 days. All damaged containers and merchandise must be kept for the trucker to inspect. At that time you will file a claim with the trucker.
  • Only those items authorized for return on an issued RMA will be credited. Credit will not be issued if the items returned do not match items on the RMA label / packing list.
  • Products received without a valid RMA label or with and expired RMA label will be refused.
  • Freight for all returns is the customer's responsibility and must be prepaid. Call tags will be issued for shipper errors.
  • Products returned C.O.D. will be refused. Unauthorized "Freight Collect" charges will be denied.
  • All returned product is subject to 25% restocking charge, with the following exceptions: product shipped in error by the shipper and the product that is defective. If you were instructed to return defective product to Guardian Industrial Supply, LLC, the product returned as defective will be tested; if it is not defective, the item may be returned to you with a fee between $35 and $75.
  • Please enclose a detailed, written description of the defect with each defective return.
Shipping Replacement Product ("Cross Shipping"): Replacement products will be sent as soon as we receive your defective products. Or, if you wish, we'll immediately send replacement products and charge them to your credit card, then issue a refund or credit your card when we receive your return and the deem the product defective.

Return Restrictions: Some products have return restrictions. Restrictions apply to special orders, promotions or damaged products. In additions, some manufacturers have specific restrictions on return of product. Contact Guardian Industrial Supply, LLC if you have a question about a manufacturer and whether they have specific return restrictions. NOTE - Fuses, transformers, replacement coils, special/build to order items are non-returnable.
