Warranty Information

 
Warranty Terms and Conditions:  The manufacturer's warranty applies to all products sold by Guardian Industrial Supply, LLC.  Warranty terms and conditions differ from manufacturer to manufacturer.  For specific manufacturer's warranty policies, contact Guardian Industrial Suppy, LLC.  This policy only covers orders and shipments within the boundaries of the continental United States.  This policy does not cover domestic shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico; international shipments; APO/FPO shipments; shipments made within the continental United States and brought/shipped outside the United States by the customer or one of his/her agents; or shipments made outside the continental United States. Shipments damaged in transit are not covered by this policy. 
 
Voided Warranties:  Unauthorized repair or modification of products other than adjustments specified in the product mnaual or written instructions from the product manufacturer will void all warranties.  Customer abuse, including inadequately packed products for shipment, will void all warranties. 
 
Warranty coverage is only in effect for merchandise that is utilized within the boundaries of the continental United States.  Customers outside the continental United States requesting warranty coverage are responsible for all shipping costs to and from the customer's location to the manufacturer's respective warranty center for the entire warranty period. 
 

Defective Merchandise

 
If You Receive Defective Merchandise (DOA): If you receive merchandise that is DOA (Dead on Arrival), call Guardian Industrial Suppy, LLC immediately.  DOA policies vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.  We will assist in applying the manufacturer's policy and resolving the problem.
 
Certain products which arrive defective or become defective due to manufacturer's defect within 5 calendar days of the invoice date will either be replaced or a replacement part will be shipped UPS Ground or USPS by either Guardian Industrial Supply, LLC or the manufacturer at the sole discretion of Guardian Industrial Supply, LLC or the manufacturer.  After the 5 calendar day limitation, customer agrees to be responsible for all shipping charges to the manufacturer's warranty center and agrees to have all defects covered under warranty.
 
Customer is responsible for all shipping charges if the replacement remedy presented by Guardian Industrial Supply, LLC or the manufacturer is not desired by the customer.  If an item is returned and not found to be defective, all shipping charges to and from the customer's ship to address will be charged to the customer.  The determination of the defect can only be determined by Guardian Industrial Supply, LLC with or without the support of the manufacturer.  The determination of the replacement depends upon the extent and magnitude of the defect.  All defects on equipment occurring after 5 calendar days of the invoice date will be covered under the respective warranty of the manufacturer or representative thereof. 
 
Defective Merchandise Within the Warranty Period: When a product becomes defective within the warranty period, we will assist in arranging for its repair or we will replace the product with new or refurbished product of the same type or equivalent according to our vendor's warranty policy. Replacement product or parts will be warranted from the date of original invoice or 30 days from the RMA date, whichever is greater.
 
Some merchandise must be serviced only at the manufacturer's Authorized Service Center or returned directly to the manufacturer for repair or replacement and WILL NOT BE EXCHANGED AT GUARDIAN INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY, LLC UNLESS WE RECEIVE AUTHORIZATION FROM THE MANUFACTURER. Guardian Industrial Supply, LLC will warrant all products according to the warranty limitation of the vendors. Note that most manufacturers will charge a fee if no fault is found with the returned product. The charge is normally between $35 and $75.
 

Return Policy and Procedures

 
Returns must have RMA label(s) attached: Product returned to Guardian Industrial Supply, LLC for any reason must be accompanied by a "Return Merchandise Authorization" (RMA). Please email returns@guardian-industrail.com for a Return Authorization number. To speed the process, please have the

When RMA numbers are issued, RMA labels are faxed or e-mailed to you with instructions and a list of items authorized for return. RMA's are only valid for ten (10) days from date of issue. Products received without an RMA label or with an expired RMA label will be returned unopened.
 
Policies:
  • Any returns other than defective must be requested within thirty (30) days from the invoice date and must be unopened, with no labels or writing on products or boxes.
  • If you receive product that is defective upon receipt or DOA, contact Guardian Industrial Supply immediately (No later than 10 days from the invoice date to comply with most manufacturer's DOA exchange policy). Defective product is replaced or repaired as per the DOA and warranty policy of the individual product manufacturer. Guardian Industrial Supply will assist you in resolving the problem however we provide no warranty other than the warranty offered by the manufacturer of the product.
  • Any product damaged by the freight carrier cannot be returned for credit. Contact the freight carrier directly to file a claim.
  • Only those items authorized for return on an issued RMA will be credited. Credit will not be issued if the items returned do not match items on the RMA label / packing list.
  • Products received without a valid RMA label or with and expired RMA label will be refused.
  • Freight for all returns is the customer's responsibility and must be prepaid.  Call tags will be issued for shipper errors. 
  • Products returned C.O.D. will be refused.  Unauthorized "Freight Collect" charges will be denied. 
  • All returned product is subject to 25% restocking charge, with the following exceptions: product shipped in error by the shipper and the product that is defective.  If you were instructed to return defective product to Guardian Industrial Supply, LLC, the product returned as defective will be tested; if it is not defective, the item may be returned to you with a fee between $35 and $75.
  • Please enclose a detailed, written description of the defect with each defective return.
Shipping Replacement Product ("Cross Shipping"): Replacement products will be sent as soon as we receive your defective products.  Or, if you wish, we'll immediately send replacement products and charge them to your credit card, then issue a refund or credit your card when we receive your return and the deem the product defective.
 
Return Restrictions: Some products have return restrictions.  Restrictions apply to special orders, promotions or damaged products.  In additions, some manufacturers have specific restrictions on return of product.  Contact Guardian Industrial Supply, LLC if you have a question about a manufacturer and whether they have specific return restrictions.
